Registered Nurses that assist referring physicians to connect
their patients to the right care, at the right time.
M-F, 8:30 am to 5 pm
RNs are available to:
- Schedule routine and urgent appointments
- Facilitate multi-specialty evaluations
- Identify appropriate specialists for diagnosis or sub-specialty
consults
- Arrange physician to physician telephone consults via phone
- Assist with interhospital transfers
- Schedule post discharge follow/up appointment scheduling
- Make available information about BIDMC services and programs
