The Sara and Arnold Grandberg Lecture in Primary Care Medicine
"Sharing Decisions: What's In It For You?"
Speaker: Angela Coulter, Ph.D., chief executive of Picker Institute Europe, a UK-registered charity that works with European health care providers to obtain feedback from patients and promote patient-centered care. Coulter is a widely published author on health policy topics, and is Visiting Professor in Health Services Research at the University of Oxford, Visiting Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford, a Governor of Oxford Brookes University and an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine.

The Grandberg Lectureship was established in 1995 by the late Sara and Arnold Grandberg. The goal of the lectures is to promote new ideas and issues in primary care that would benefit clinicians and the patients they serve.

Annual Service Awards Ceremony
The ceremony will honor employees celebrating 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 or 45 years of service in calendar year 2002. These employees will receive invitations with a request to RSVP. In addition, employees celebrating five, 10, and 15 year anniversaries in calendar year 2002 will be honored with teas held in their departments throughout the month of September.

The next Service Awards recognition ceremonies will take place in spring 2004 for employees celebrating milestone years in calendar year 2003.
